Foci classification, definitional clarity
editDoes this sentence aid in defining the junction point where mass is transferred to the companion star? Undo if unclear, please redefine.
"Breach of the common envelope crosses the Lagrange Point L1 with the donor-star mass beyond the Roche Lobe acting as the third dynamic point in a formerly binary system." — Preceding unsigned comment added by AuthorizeditorA (talk • contribs) 17:06, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Diagram
editThe diagram is wrong: qualitatively and - worse - physically wrong. It does not describe any kind of physics known to mankind! Until somebody has time to make a better - and correct - image (working on it but an SVG is tricky, I could make a PNG sooner), it would be better to remove it altogether rather than continue to peddle misleading information.
I do not have the source (Wheeler) at hand but *if* Wheeler made the image then it is wrong in the original source also.

I have now updated the diagram with something qualitatively, and probably mostly quantitatively, correct. I would like to urge the page's lead editor to seriously consider learning some astrophysics (or contact me) before revoking this change! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rginvisible (talk • contribs) 18:05, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
