Specific games edit

Hey, somebody ought to add descriptions of some of the games. It doesn't have to be as exhaustive as List of games from Whose Line Is It Anyway?, but it would be nice to show some of the flavor of the shows. Freekee 03:31, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Some of my favourites:

  • Radio (actletes line up shoulder to shoulder and are each given a type of radio station. Ref dims the house and with a laser or flashlight "tunes" the radio up and down. Frequently leads to almost-brownbags when a rap station is present and a callsign is spoken. Further, it's subject to creating misinterpretation, such as "animal radio" getting turned into Animal from the Muppet Show going berzerk.)
  • Object Freeze (Similar to Who's Line's game "props" except there is one prop and actletes step forward to use it.)
  • Oxygen Deprivation (I never figured out exactly what this was about except that it was rarely played because it involves a bucket of water.)
  • Tag Team Acting (I may have the name wrong. Two actletes start a scene. Other actletes may call "FREEZE", freezing the scene, and then tags someone out, and take that someone's place. Scene then continues.)

Warmups:

  • Bunny Bunny Bunny (Group gets into a circle. "It" starts chanting "bunny bunny bunny..." while flapping bunny ears over his head (ref carmeldansen videos of anime character doing the same thing). Person on It's left flaps the left hand. Person on It's right flaps the right hand. After six or so reps of "bunny", a final "bunny" is spoken and It points to someone else in the circle. This is frequently mixed with zoom schwartz profigliano. We also had a "beep", which passed It to the right or left depending on where you turn your head.

Confusing World Championship Information edit

The World Championship used to be the National Tournament, but the tournament is never discussed, causing confusion later. The section which describes the World Championships says that the first was in 2004, which is correct, but then later the article says that the WC returns to Portland, which is incorrect, since Portland has only hosted the National Tournament. Suggest rewrite of that section to explain both. Cernansky 00:02, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
