Romantic comedies edit

Romantic comedy redirects to Romantic comedy film. How about an article about romantic comedies in general? --EarthFurst (talk) 12:33, 26 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Missing comics edit

How are Norm Macdonald and Louis CK not part of this list?!

Lacking some truly Iconic comedians edit

I am not sure I like these "explanation by namedropping a lot of people". Is this supposed to be a huge list of comedians or is the purpose to explain different comedic genres? If this long compilation of names is needed, this list certainly is lacking some famous comedians:

I don't see any of the Monty Pythons mentioned - at the very least Cleese should be there? - where is Peter Sellers (????) and how about e.g. Alan Alda, Whoopee Goldberg, Tom Green or old icons like Bob Hope and Laurel & Hardy - or cartoon characters like Donald Duck or Bugs Bunny? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.30.103.162 (talk) 11:36, 26 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Self-deprecating? edit

Seems like this should have its own entry, but at the very least it should be referenced in another genre. MXMLLN (talk) 11:43, 15 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I thought that used to be on the list; I must have been seeing things. I'd say go for it. Though we don't seem to have a stand-alone article for it; just a section in Self-deprecation. (BTW: please add new posts to the bottom, not the top.) JustinTime55 (talk) 14:08, 15 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Where is FARCE edit

Simply, Where would the type of comedy called FARCE go in the list of comedic sub genres? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.125.84.3 (talk) 16:45, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
