This page is lame. Collaro did not go out of business in the 1960s, they were bought by U.S. Magnavox in 1960 and made record changers into the early 1990s.

No need to use words like 'lame', this is a 'stub' waiting for people like you to improve it! In fact I don't think you are right to say they were 'bought' by Magnavox which is why I was hesitating to say more originally. The word used in the article is 'aquired' and I think it refers to aquisition of agency rights as I have now explained in the article. Thanks for a very useful reference. I still find it very hard to determine just where the 'Collaro' make ended, or when manufacturing in Britain ended, or who originally set up Collaro. - Lindosland (talk) 11:26, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
