I note that there's no mention of the fact that MARTA was declined multiple times in Cobb, and that the Cobb commissioners remarked repeatedly that they didn't want "those people," implying blacks, travelling from Atlanta to Cobb via MARTA - hence the lack of Sunday service and the ridiculously small numbers of routes and stops in Cobb County. Considering I was there during the hearings, I know these things happened - but I don't know of any location other than pay-per-article news archives that would still have the relevant stories. There's already considerable discussion of that in the MARTA article. Doesn't it fit better there, since it's mostly about why Cobb isn't in MARTA, rather than specifically about CCT? --Delirium (talk) 21:47, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
