The notable alumni section looks like it's been mucked with. Halpern? Yes. But Boffy? And the guy who died in 1979? 66.57.224.158 21:10, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV
editI've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
- There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
- It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
- In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 14:38, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
"Bell schedule"?
editThe "Bell Schedule" seems like an odd, completely superfluous addition. Unless someone can provide examples of Bell Schedules commonly posted in articles about other high schools, I think it should be removed. Global Cerebral Ischemia (talk) 01:16, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- It's been a few months; since no other comment has been made, I've gone ahead and deleted the "bell schedule" section. Global Cerebral Ischemia (talk) 14:44, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Cobra Cobrastein is not a "notable alumni"
editThe assumption that edits are made in good faith does not extend to obvious vandalism, and the consecutive, anonymous edits to include this name are a pretty unambiguous example of vandalism. The name in question does not appear in CHS's list of distinguished alumni, and a Google search for the name turns up nothing but one instagram account (presumably this is the attention-seeking vandal himself?)... I'd advise this person to grow up and stop wasting other people's time. Global Cerebral Ischemia (talk) 14:36, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Notable alums/dates
editMost notable alumni are shown with a two-digit graduation year (e.g., Class of '07). For clarity I would suggest four-digit years.
Additionally, many alums are listed with graduation years that pre-date the 1975 founding of the school. Therefore, it seems more correct to move those alumni to the page for Fosdick-Masten Park High School instead. Jsmathematics (talk) 22:18, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
