Image:Disney circle 7 animation.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

This is notable as it was covered by the LA Times and CNN Entertainment Weekly. There was no reason to retag this article on the Notability issue. Spshu (talk) 18:28, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

Defunct date

The date of announcement is not necessarily the date the division when defunct as the source clear states: "Disney Closes Unit Devoted to Pixar Sequels". Los Angeles Times. March 21, 2006. Retrieved October 30, 2011. Thirty-two employees, or nearly 20% of the 168 artists, production managers and support staff, were told they would lose their jobs effective May 26. As they would be working until May 26, 2006, then that is the date of closure/defunct. If the date of announcement was all we had in the article then that is what we would use but we have a definitive last day of work, or day of division operations.
