No single Shropshire Yeomanry regiment edit

I happen to possess a regimental history of the Shropshire Yeomanry which was not a unified county regiment until 1872; in 1821 there were three yeomanry regiments based in Shropshire, the main component in the force at 'Cinderloo' being the South Salopian Yeomanry Cavalry commanded by Lt Col Cludde of Orleton, near Wellington. I will add some detail sourced to the book, which I note is already cited here albeit in a different templated format.Cloptonson (talk) 08:14, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Malapropism? edit

Something that might puzzle readers. I note it is stated that the magistrate Thomas Eyton read out the Riot Act, calling for the crowds to "dissipate and go home". Should not the 'd' word be 'disperse' if this is not directly taken from the cited news story?Cloptonson (talk) 21:10, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
