contradiction edit

"Cinchonism can occur... from small doses over a longer period of time, not from the amounts used in tonic drinks, but possibly from ingestion of tonic water as a beverage over a lengthy period of time." So can it be caused by tonic drinks or not? --86.135.182.174 (talk) 23:15, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistency edit

The entry for Quinine states, with a source, that "Despite popular belief, Quinine is an ineffective abortifacient." This clearly contradicts this page, which should either provide a source or remove the statement.

Quinine or Quinidine? edit

The article says initially that a quinidine overdose is the cause of cinchonism. Then it talks about quinine, never explaining the link between the two. The respective pages did not explain this switch, and it is confusing. The correct cause should be found and the page should be fixed. 24.125.97.228 (talk) 00:27, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
