Was the Female Choedal Kal destroyed?

Was the Female Choedal Kal destroyed? or was just the access key? I can't remember. i thought it was the access key but i haven't read the book in years. The female Choedan Kal access key was destroyed. It is never explicitly stated whether the actual Choedan Kal was destroyed or not, so I assume it was not destroyed. --Spidey104^contribs 21:40, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

I just read the bit in book 11, the chapter is "To make an anchor weep." It says, "The Great Hand on Tremalking melted." I think that probably means it is completely destroyed. --Silversmith Hewwo 07:27, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Notability

With references added, I would ask that a better reference format be suggested (or simply added to page), per article history page note. Also, as a concept within the Wheel of Time novels, notability is high as these devices play a major role in a temporal sense, having been created in the Age of Legends as a counter to the Dark One, referenced heavily in The Strike at Shayol Ghul, clear through to Winter's Heart and Knife of Dreams. Also, in their plot importance, they are highly notable, as they play a major role in actions surrounding the War of the Shadow, the destruction of Rhuidean, the cleansing of saidin, and the mass suicide of the Amayar. Well, I disagree about a future role being "heavily suggested," but that's neither here nor there. The fact is that, except for the cleansing scene at the end of Winter's Heart, they're almost entirely just there for occasional background and aren't a core part of the story. Sa'angreal don't even have their own page, so I don't see why the Choedan Kal have their own page. I would suggest this page be merged into the One Power article. --Spidey104^contribs 21:40, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
