Talk:Chief operating officer/Archives/2021

Not very encyclopedia-like

This whole article reads like an essay straight from an airport management book - advice and opinion thickly slathered onto a tiny kernel of facts. The sections on "Relationship with the CEO / Board" are particularly egregious: "Seven strategies that are key to building trust include...". The section on "Experts and research" adds zero value and seems like shameless promotion... of the article's author? 145.64.134.242 (talk) 15:45, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

It reads like a vehicle for link juice on the listed people --Manys (talk) 05:04, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
Agree, the article relies heavily on Bennett and Miles, who are referenced in the end. Miles's page reads as self promotion, also there is a question of notability? I removed egregious adverts and rewrote sentences pertaining to the two--they have published in peer-reviewed journals, so they can be considered "experts"...but do they need their own section? It would be good if someone with a business background could review the article. PetroPetro (talk) 18:40, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
