When? Where?

I didn't understand anything here. What country, what time the article is talking about? That should be cleared up, because wikipedia articles should be understandable without any prior context. Also that citation in the first paragraph is in wrong tone, looks too strange, I think it should be changed to a modern english sentence with the citation being the reference.--Tiredtime (talk) 18:54, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

The Chronological Historian

The author is given as Peter Toone, but unless I have missed something, this is an error - the first name is William, not Peter. The full-text is on Archive.org, and I will add links to this. The Chronological Historian is cited multiple times in the article, and I suggest using the reference page style of citation to simplify this.Kognos (talk) 23:02, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
