Chi Delta Theta is part of the Fraternities and Sororities WikiProject, an effort to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Greek Life on the Wikipedia. This includes but is not limited to International social societies, local organizations, honor societies, and their members. If you would like to participate, you can edit the article attached to this page, visit the project page, where you can join the project, and/or contribute to the discussion.Fraternities and SororitiesWikipedia:WikiProject Fraternities and SororitiesTemplate:WikiProject Fraternities and SororitiesFraternities and Sororities articles
Article requests : An additional, freely-licensed graphic would add reader interest. The History section should be expanded. You might include a note explaining that sisters are called "sxsters". Please also update the reference for the Theta colony to note the number of its founders. A tip: normally, colonies of other fraternities and sororities aren't given an official Greek Letter designation or name until they are fully installed...
Infobox : The infobox may be incomplete. The template used for this entry, where you can see all available fields (--these things: "| = text") is the fraternity-specific infobox. This, and other useful items are linked on the Fraternities and Sororities Project page. If the organization joins NAPA, switch the affiliation field from "Independent" to "NAPA".
Maintain : Set a calendar reminder to update the chapter list and otherwise check the article for necessary updates, annually.
NPOV : Remember, the writing has to be neutral in tone, like an encyclopedia instead of a promotional piece...
Update : If calling out specific chapters in the body text, italicize the name of the chapter. Wikipedia practice within the F&S Project is that the word "chapter" is not capitalized, while the name of the chapter is.
Wikify : Add any other relevant, public symbolism to the infobox. List the group's print or digital publication name in the infobox, italicized. You might add the physical address (including the ZIP code field), though for security some sororities omit this. Annually, confirm the number of chapters and add the number of lifetime members. Expand the History section to include important milestones. The chapter list has been updated to Project standards, but will require occasional review. If a chapter is active it should be identified by bolding its name, and if inactive by using italics, also noting the date or at least the year it went inactive. The chapter table allows room in the reference field for a citation to a university's portal page for that chapter, and allow comments on where a chapter came from, interesting facts or its outcome. A separate table may also be used to showcase notable members, but be sure to add Inclusion Rules to avoid vanity listings. Phi Kappa Theta does a nice job with their notable members list.
