Strong in Malacologia, 2017, 61(1–2): 1–526.) (can be dowloaded at Researchgate.net), substituting the previous classification of 2005 Taxonomy of the Gastropoda (Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005). pelagic nudibranchs edit

Based on the publication titled "the pelagic nudibranch", I assume this was originally the first/only pelagic species known.

One of the other sources mentioned there being five planktonic species. Not sure what was meant at that time...

there's two neustonic species (Glaucidae?).
this species, and
another pair closely related to this one (Phylliroe atlantica & bucephala), these being the three species of the Phylliroidae family.
there's some that live crawling upon floating material: Fiona pinnata ("only slightly adapted to pelagic life and resembles in habitus the benthic members of the group" - marine spec. id. portal) or Scyllaea pelagica (the sargassum nudi, which at least "can swim upwards by flexing its body vigorously")
but then there's also benthic species that can also swim in bursts, like the spanish dancer.
