Hello all. I am making an edit to the page to remove the reference to Raoul Moat. The farm referenced (Wagtail Farm) is not in this township. I have added some actual history to the page, taking notes from David Dippie Dixon's "Upper Coquetdale" (1903). The text I have removed is: "In 2010 the parish became involved in the hunt for Raoul Moat, a 37-year-old ex-convict from Newcastle upon Tyne, who had shot three people, killing one. Police discovered a makeshift camp, including a duvet, tent and sleeping bag, in a secluded area of land at Wagtail Farm, in the south of the parish.[2] Moat was subsequently cornered in Rothbury, where he shot himself." Please review my edits. --Gruffling (talk) 21:53, 22 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
