Talk:Capitis deminutio

Latest comment: 7 years ago by 104.136.36.201

Two points –

1. It's diminutio, not de... It's written with an i throughout the article, as in the references, yet the title is with an e.

2. I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person, however nowhere in Black's dictionary is it mentioned that this is performed "through the use of capitalization". Can someone please find the references to support this, please? Thanks! BigSteve (talk) 15:32, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

The "through the use of capitalization" verbiage is nonsense. Famspear (talk) 00:32, 14 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
The basis of that conspiracy theory appears to be based purely on the similarity between the words "capitalization" and "capitis". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.41.242.63 (talk) 08:27, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Just look into the etymology of the words. Both mean "of head", hence the connection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.136.36.201 (talk) 00:27, 8 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

3. It is easy to define person and personal liberty first and conclude what it means in Admiralty Law . How else would a person lose their rights, etc? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.136.36.201 (talk) 23:44, 7 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
