Serbian guns edit

In 1915 Serbia received several batteries from France, maybe then it was the m 1912 model... Or maybe they were issued on the Macedonian front (the original Serbian artillery had to be destroyed prior to the retreat through Albania).

"Until the end of the war all guns in French service were replaced with more successful and standarised Canon de 75 modèle 1897" This (unsourced) statement seems rather hard to believe. Given the scale and ferocity of the First World War, it is hard to imagine a perfectly serviceable weapon being allowed to just sit around and gather dust rather than contribute its share of destruction to the Boche invader.--63.3.21.1 (talk) 22:09, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
