Community Safety Units edit

I feel this article needs to have a section on the Community Safety Units (CSU's), which are responsible for enforcing laws on legal cannabis.

History of cannabis shops in Vancouver edit

I'm not the greatest writer, but thought it would be important to call attention to the fact that the city of Vancouver was giving dispensary licenses to dispensaries at least by 2016 or earlier. These were weird psudo-legal dispensaries in areas VPD operated as they allowed city licensed dispensaries. As well other cities in greater Vancouver also tolerated dispensaries to a certain degree however were occasionally raided by RCMP. Some cities would require a doctor's recommendation (not the same thing as a real federal green card, far easier to get and you talk to a naturopathic doctor), or even full recreational. 2001:569:7D77:E700:7522:4C2E:2856:5854 (talk) 01:14, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

“BC Bud” edit

Cannabis marketed in government sanctioned outlets in British Columbia contains little to no THC. Legacy cultivators of cannabis in British Columbia are not involved in the government sanctioned marketing of cannabis in British Columbia.

To make matters simple, there’s no drugs in the drugs! 2605:8D80:440:6E34:C955:5B0E:5FB6:38F2 (talk) 18:39, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
