COI Declaration

I hereby declare a professional conflict of interest with the subject matter. I apologize for my previous edits, though I do maintain that the information supplied was both accurate and true, and was written in a professional manner. 30sos (talk) 17:29, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

I have created a section header for the above COI declaration and am adding a do not archive template to this thread. I support the editors contention that previous edits have been factual and reasonably NPOV, also noting they have been sourced. Advert tag

This article is loaded with promotional phrasing and weasel words. Most of the content is referenced to the website of the school itself. There has been content added without updated references that support that content. Articles should not be based primarily on first party involved sources. If the content cannot be supported by independent reliable sources it is subject to removal. Promotional tone and phrasing needs to be removed. WP is not an advertisement for the subjects of its articles. This article needs substantial work to be based on appropriate sources. Accredited

The article claims this college is accredited, but uses these citations: [1] and [2]. Neither indicate that the college is actually accredited in Ontario, and I cannot find any indication that they are actually accredited by the Ontario government. Can someone please find this citation? If not, we have to remove the claim. --Yamla (talk) 21:10, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Ah! I found a citation. [3]. Interestingly, this article was falsely claiming that this was an accredited institution, long before they became accredited. I'll make the changes to the article. --Yamla (talk) 21:14, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Disputed citations and NPOV

The section "Standard program and curriculum" is full of self-promoting claims about the subject of the article. There are especially troubling claims about being trained as a primary care provider and seeing patients with primary care conditions. I think it would be better to remove these statements, as they are not cited and dubious.Trhermes (talk) 13:21, 31 August 2015 (UTC)

Hoax tag

Much of the claims in the article are suspected of being false information and spin in order to suggest that the college graduates primary care medical providers. No citations from outside, peer-reviewed sources are used to support this notion.Trhermes (talk) 13:39, 31 August 2015 (UTC)

I can see no evidence that the article itself is a hoax. There's ample evidence that this organisation exists. Now, it's certainly the case that naturopathic medicine is not backed up by science, but that doesn't mean the article itself is a hoax.
