This is a horrible description.

I don't think Haley eating meat should be considered a goof. Remember, at first, she is appaled that the UN is living in a luxury hotel while the Africans are in a shanty town. Then, when Stan says that he is turning the camp into a summer camp, I believe that Haley is so shocked that she just really lets herself go.- JustPhil 19:58, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

And wht for christ sakes are hitler melons?

Two things: First: Haley letting herself go is put into contrast to Stan helping the refugees. It is really unusual for Stan to help poor people. And I guess the writers just wanted to kind of parody that with haley's plotline.
Second: Noone in the episode seems to know exactly what hitler melons are but when the packages of tether balls, which Stan ordered from the UN, arrives and a women says that they look like fruits a boy asks wether they are hitler melons. This prompts Stan to ask "What?" but instead of asking anything further he tells them that those are tether balls. 85.212.22.34 23:58, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Francine's Arm edit

I think it should be mentioned that Francine had her hand cut off in the previous episode, and for this episode her wrist is covered.

Wasn't that her RIGHT hand, not her left??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.95.141.46 (talk) 13:46, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is as good a place as any to mention that American Dad has no meaningful semblance of continuity. Roger impregnates a human girl via Steve, not another word about it. Steve tricks Roger out of the $40,000 or so they made grifting, not another word about it. Stan runs over and kills a dude living under their sink, not another word about it. Roger kills dozens of people escaping from a Thai prison, not another word about it. There are undoubtedly more examples, but there are very few instances of events in earlier episodes being brought up again in later episodes. In short, the idea of continuity "errors" is inherently flawed if the show itself makes no attempt at continuity.172.191.0.170 (talk) 04:49, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I should mention that, the "dude" living under the Smith family sink (Frank, I think) was part of an extended dream sequence, thus exempt from any sort of continuity. Sorry for the error. I still stand by the fact that American Dad makes no real effort to maintain continuity thus "continuity errors" are not actually possible.--172.190.18.29 (talk) 03:35, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
