Contested deletion edit

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it explains what Kabeyun is, and is written in the exactly same style as for other summer camps. If there are specific sections that are overly promotional, please note them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Signalridge (talkcontribs) 20:50, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

That is the problem. Many of them look like promotion.Dlohcierekim (talk) 21:00, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

None of these other camp pages has been nominated for deletion. In what ways is the Kabeyun page different from theirs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Signalridge (talkcontribs) 21:22, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

How can institutions with nearly century-long histories represent themselves without this problem? Do you have any specific suggestions? Are there potential criticisms or counterarguments that would assuage your concerns? I must confess that I regard this blanket attack on the genre as massively underspecified.

Promotional language has nothing to do with the age of the institution. Dlohcierekim (talk) 21:15, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I completely disagree. A century's history is worth recording. Nevertheless, are there ways that that history can be recorded and memorialized here in ways that do you not hit your "promotional" hackles? Again, I am looking for an answer that is specific and constructive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Signalridge (talkcontribs) 21:20, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Dear Dlohcierekim, do you have objections to the History section in the prior version, or only to the section on program? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Signalridge (talkcontribs) 01:54, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
