Etymology edit

There seems to be a problem with the etymology of the name of this subspecies. I have quoted directly from the Brown/Dixon/French/Brockman "Field Guide to the Orchids of Western Australia" - "Derivation of name: From the Latin cleistogamus (fertilised within the unopened flower), alluding to the self-pollinating habit of this subspecies." Maybe Brown et al. are not students of Latin or Greek, and neither am I but I see my role as using reliable sources to edit articles. I am using the latest (2013) edition, listed at the National Library of Australia website. Gderrin (talk) 11:29, 21 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
