editI suggest you desist from deleting the link to the Livistonia australis ( NSW Cabbage Tree Palm ) page. The Livistonia has been referred to throughout the history of European settlement in NSW as the "cabbage tree", "cabbage palm" and "cabbage tree palm". Although it may be considered tautological, the "cabbage tree palm" is now considered to be the proper "common" name of this species. However, there are many named features in NSW, such as Cabbage Tree Island, Cabbage Tree Bay, Cabbage Tree Road, the Cabbage Tree Club at Palm Beach, and cabbage tree hats ( handmade hats made from the split leaves of the palm ), which refer to historical usages of the name "cabbage tree". Therefore the link to Livistonia from this page is appropriate. Please don't delete it again. Eregli bob (talk) 09:51, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
