What envelops this star edit
According to the article here it is dust. However a recent article by the British Broadcasting Corporation found here [1] seems to suggest that it is in fact enshrouded in water. Can someone with more physics/astronomy experience than I update the article until it's factually accurate. Thanks. --MarcZimmer (talk) 00:49, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Both. It's heavily extincted in the optical and very bright in the infrared because of the large amount of dust. But there's also gas, which contains a huge range of molecules - one of which is water. Modest Genius talk 21:19, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
