CHP is used to abbreviate Combined Heating and Power as a business direction in designing Optimal utlization models of produced gas. The business models that focus on CHP derive maximum value of hydrocarbon gas in the overall value chain.
In comparision with Bulk-Gas sales, the CHP provides 70-80% increase in value of the produced gas. This often leads to smaller carbon foot-print and better carbon credits to the Upstream oil&gas sector.
