Is it fair to call this a new technology? Computer extras have been in CDs for a long time. I can name at least one from 2002: the reissue of Freezepop Forever. The name's the only thing different.

hey there. i messed up the part where it puts what artists are going to use the feature. can u fix it for me? i don't know how. :)MusicBoi94 (talk) 21:26, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

--- This article badly needs some technical information from an expert. I came here hoping to find out how it works, eg. how much of the disc is partitioned for audio and data. I assume the technology uses CD EXTRA or something very similar? The article also states that content on the disc is "updateable" by the user - but how is this possible with a read-only medium like a compact disc? edit

This article is seriously out of date and isn't logical in its structure. Sections like: "This means that each artist's disc is original; its content is downloadable to the CD disc as well as containing content downloadable from the disc onto the person's computer." simply do not make sense and are not at all clear. Also, most of the information is from 2007, or earlier. And to second C1, it's seriously lacking in technical information.
