Did Buzby actually survive into the British Telecom era? Seems a bit strange for them to be using ex-GPO mascots after privatisation, but I suppose anything is possible. 217.155.20.163 (talk) 00:04, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

My recollection is the Buzby was widely disliked (or at any rate it was fashionable to say you hated him - maybe people secretly regarded him with wry affection) and once vied with Mrs Thatcher in a poll for "most irritating character on TV".
