Hi there! As part of an academic project related to my studies at university, I will be making some changes to this Wikipedia page. I notice some sections are missing some academic or generally reliable citations. Rather than remove information from this page, I'm looking to add to the information and ensure it has been properly sourced. Historical or municipal data available for Burton, and the larger Sunbury County are slim. If anyone has any links or pointers to where i could find this information, I'd be very grateful.

- Canadiana.ca has a fair amount of historical material but it may count as original research to use some of it. Genealogical sites are good for pointing you toward where to find usable material.
- One thing I wanted to do with the various small community pages was to merge them into the articles for the civil parishes they're in, as I'm told is done with English articles. It's certainly easier than trying to separate the early history of places from their civil parish with the same name.
- You won't find much municipal data on Sunbury county before 1966 because Oromocto was the only municipality other than the county itself. All the other modern municipalities were quasi-municipal commissions or local improvement districts before Robichaud's reforms. G. Timothy Walton (talk) 15:22, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
