In the early 1960s the experience in Germany grew by the realization of the United States through the progressive use of information technology. So a regulatory framework needed to be created to counteract the impairment of legitimate interests of the aggrieved person in the processing of personal data.
That is missing something to the context. The experience of what? The whole paragraph could do with a little work as it doesn't hang together as a cogent thought. — billinghurst sDrewth 05:48, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
GDPR-update missing
editIt seems the amendment of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG) from 2018 is missing, which made it compliant with the European GDPR. (Unfortunately I am not enough of a lawyer to amend the article by myself.) — TheShire (talk) 21:26, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
