Relationship to the Goldbach Conjecture edit

I'm surprised there is no reference to the Goldbach conjecture in relation to the Brun sieve. The relationship is mentioned in this article: http://www.ams.org/journals/bull/1949-55-03/S0002-9904-1949-09180-2/S0002-9904-1949-09180-2.pdf

As well as in this book, which is a collection of important work regarding the Goldbach Conjecture: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/goldbach-conjecture-wang-yuan/1006281525/2672589199109?st=PLA&sid=BNB_DRS_Marketplace+Shopping+Textbooks_00000000&2sid=Google_&sourceId=PLGoP20456&k_clickid=3x20456

Brun's pure sieve edit

What is the number X in the formulas? Hazelmaye (talk) 00:17, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

It seems that in the previous versions, X was defined as the cardinal of A at the same time than ω, but the definition was lost in the modifications. Poire jaune (talk) 09:26, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
