General comments

At the moment, this article is formatted as a list-type article, rather than a prose-type article. That is to say, the information is primarily presented through lists, rather than prose. To meet the Good article criteria, much more information needs to be given in written prose about the subject. As a start, anything in the lead should also be included, in prose in the body, so that the lead does not require any references. In the main body of the article, there is no discussion at all of the performance of the British Virgin Islands athletes at the games. As such, this needs significant expansion to be considered for Good article status. Harrias talk 07:54, 21 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I fixed all of your points, however I did leave two references in the lead, which are not included anywhere else in the article. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 15:14, 21 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Further review
  • Per MOS:BOLDAVOID, do not link the bold text in the introduction. In fact, this is probably a case where MOS:AVOIDBOLD applies, and we can just not use bold text at all.
  • At the moment the lead it quite detailed in places, such as mentioning that the team was announced on June 22 (which isn't included in the main body of the article). Try to rewrite it to better provide a general summary of the article.
  • The information about it being "a decline of one athlete from the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games" is also not included in the main body of text.
  • Consider adding a "Background" section (this could include the information mentioned above that isn't in the body), that also places the article into context: this can include some short information on the Pan American Games themselves, including the information currently cited in the lead.
  • Overall, this still has a bare bones feel about it. Take a look at Burkina Faso at the 2012 Summer Paralympics or Somalia at the 2000 Summer Olympics for comparison. Harrias talk 08:51, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
As there has been no work on this in over a week, and it is well short of the GA criteria, I'm going to fail it. Harrias talk 09:35, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
