Benjamin Emmons edit

My gggg grandfather, Benjamin Emmons, has been recognized as one of the founders of Bristol. He worked on the crew that cleared the trail from Chester to New Chester. He received his property in about 1767 and began coming back every summer. In 1771 he built his first log cabin. In about 1781 he built a large house which is now the upscale lounge and restaurant named The Homestead. glennlane1@aol.com. 2602:304:CDA6:51B0:F0C8:FDF9:154C:9D87 (talk) 05:15, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
