Whether an African period really exists for Picasso I will not address, but this particular painting is entirely cubist and shows little if any African or primitivist influence. Periodization for anything is murky, made worse by the propensity to yield to anyone promoting a social agenda. Sych (talk) 03:04, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
