Proposed merge from Meligethes aeneus to Brassicogethes aeneus edit

Looks like Meligethes aeneus is the junior synonym for Brassicogethes aeneus. Neither page is very extensive. I think the pages should be merged. Nessie (talk) 14:08, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Support merge (but then I would, because I started this particular hare). I haven't done an extensive search, but all the sources which I have looked at say that M. aeneus is a superseded synonym. Both M. aeneus and B. aeneus were described by Fabricius in 1775, who may have been splitting a bit. Narky Blert (talk) 23:02, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
