Janes of 1946 claims that the later models of the Fafnir had a fuel consumption of .42. Given the poor performance of the earlier versions I assume this is a typo -- there is another typo in the same section, where they refer to a E model but are clearly talking about the D. I assume the performance is actually .52, not .42, but I can't really be sure. If someone else can find another figure it would help.
