Academy Award

If he is "Academy Award-winning" as written in the article, what award and for which work?

Well, if you read the whole article, not just the introductory sentence, it clearly states "In 2005, Bird won an Oscar in the Best Animated Feature category for The Incredibles." ROG 19 12:42, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

First Film

What was the name of Brad Bird's film that he made when he was 13? Could we put more detail on the film? Like pictures of it!

Bird's voice in Family Dog?

I've recently re-watched "The Family Dog" and note that Bird has a voice credit in it, however I can find no verification of which character he voiced. However there is a character, the dog trainer Madam Gerta LeStrange, who has a voice that seems strikingly similar to the voice of Edna Mode in "The Incredibles." Plague Dogs - Disney?

"Upon graduating from the California Institute of the Arts, Bird began working for Disney. His time with Disney was brief, and he left shortly after working on The Fox and the Hound in 1981 and the little seen The Plague Dogs in 1982." The Incredibles

This article claims that Brad Bird's face was used as the inspiration for Syndrome in the movie The Incredibles, but the page List of The Incredibles characters says that is was Mr Incredible, not Syndrome. Which is it?--Tiberius47 (talk) 13:21, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

In the DVD behind the scenes for The Incredibles, they say that they used Brad Bird as the basis for both characters' appearance, Mr. Incredible and Syndrome. Bird wasn't the only person to get CG=fied. Two of Syndrome's guards are based off people at Pixar and Edna clearly shows elements of fashion designers like Anna Wintor.
