It's completely false. There's only one Bovianum (latin for Oscian Buvaianum), where Romans founded two latin colonies after the conquest, the first calle Bovianum wich ebcame Bovianum Vetus, later called Bovianum Vetus (Old Bovianum) where a new one (Bovianum Undecumanorum, meaning Bovianum of the Eleventh, sice it was founded by the 11th legion retired soldiers) was estabilished. The mistake was made by T. Momsen, who went to Bovianum to study Saminetes and found an inscription in Pietrabbondante with the word Buvaianud (dativ of Buvaionom) but it's normal you found an iscription about the capital in another parish of the same nation. or you must think there are thousands of Rome since you find inscriptions naming Roma in all the Roman Empire. :\ It was only Momsen to think there were 2 Bovianum. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.252.182.47 (talk) 18:55, 4 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
