Daniel's Status

How can Daniel be working diligently at the Museum of antiquities when the Quest part 2 has shown him captured by Adria, and the following episode lists him as becoming a prior. I'm going to remove the line for being logically impossible. Stile4aly 22:43, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Jaffa planet

Some of those scenes were of Chulak. Was that supposed to be Chulak itself, or a poor example of Stargate SG-1's tendancy to use Stock footage? -- SFH 22:28, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

I remember that, but I didn't assume that meant that. It could just be a place they're from like how the Jaffa do the names of different places on Chulak, it doesn't necessarily mean the name of their race. It could be the planet's name though.

Trivia

But... the pilot of Firefly was Serenity. And the only similarity to The Train Job is that they boarded a "train." They didn't steal anything. And no Alliance Federals were harmed really that I can recall...

Anyway. Not everything having to do with Kansas has to do with the Wiz. I kinda doubt that was their intention. The Dukes of Hazard was mentioned in the little trivia tidbit, and I am pretty confident that's the only thing on their minds. Notice her short shorts, which are called Daisy Dukes for a reason. Also, the short shirt, and weed she's chewin' on. Totally Daisy. Besides, Dorothy ain't no expert marksman (that we know of). Sharprs 02:19, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Why'd they let Ventrell go?

Here's s list of Ventrell's crimes, going purely by human laws governing the USA.

• 1) Assault & Battery (Knocking out the man for his suit in the parking lot, and all the violence in the party itself)
• 2) Assault with a deadly weapon (All that shooting)
• 3) Destruction of property (Breaking through the roof of the gym)
• 4) Attempted kidnapping (Taking SG-1 out to the ship)
• 5) Hostage taking (What's the actual name for that crime?)
• 6) Impersonating an officer (Mitchell's voice to the SGC)
• 7) Illegal entry into the USA (I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a passport)

This doesn't count all the crimes which fall outside the laws of reality, but not the laws of the fictional Stargate universe (Killing the alien bounty hunter for example). Some are relatively minor, some aren't, but it's still a tidy sum of misdemeanors and felonies that would guarantee a good amount of jailtime, even if he is technically an alien (We've held alien prisoners before).

Now, it's quite clear that they let him go hoping he'd kill Netan (Or at lest try to), but as they themselves mention, this is likely to happen anyway, and we even see another person attempt to assassinate him before Ventrell got to him. With such a list of crimes to his name, why the heck do they let him go? JBK405 04:42, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

What's wrong with trivia section

There's a note at the top of this entry that the Trivia section should be integrated into the rest of the entry. Why is that?QuizzicalBee 13:23, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

It's the general Wikipedia policy that Trivia sections are a no-no, they're usually filled with random meaningless data and in list form, both of which Wikipedia is against. However, important information, relevant to the shows production or content, is valid. The trivia section's don't need to be completely removed, but they need to be shrunk as far as possible to remove all that excess fluff (Of course, what counts as "fluff" really is a subjective kind of thing). Generally the aim is to eventually reduce the article to no trivia section (by integration/writing new prose, etc.) - people do add some really bad things to these sections. Matthew 14:59, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
