Chasing Chevy Chase!

• One of the other subdivisions stated the origin was O. Smith Survey, Volume 44, Page 183 (Lot 5): https://www.hctax.net/Property/SubResults?T=Results&Vol=44&Page=183 - Points to http://books.tax.hctx.net/v044/AE1997_Vol_44-2_0225.jpg and http://books.tax.hctx.net/BlockBooksPDF/v044/AE1997_Vol_44-2_0225.pdf (indicates Bissonnet Place and Southampton Park) which doesn't show Chevy Chase (as it is east of Ashby!) but is pretty useful in showing how some of the other Boulevard Oaks communities are located in relation to one another
  • Based on this map, Poe Elementary (bounded by North, South, Hazard, and Wilton) would have to be where it says "Edgemont", but I haven't found a tract that contains Poe (which is supposed to be in Chevy Chase)

Finally found the base map that indicates where it's supposed to be: O. Smith Survey, Lot 2, Abstract 696, Volume 44, Page 180. But no page numbers... (PDF and JPG). Cresmere Place, West Ormond Place, and Hermann Hospital Estates are also indicated, along with One lot carried with No. 3, Part of Abermale Place, see Tr. 22 & 23 Page 181.
