Bombie as Bomb site in London

A bombie was what the locals used to call a bomb site (the site of damaged buildings etc after a bomb has exploded) in London during and after the Second World War. A reference to this is the open space in New Southgate, LONDON N11 officially labelled as The Bombie to this day.
