Talk:Body corporate

The use of the word "English" in this article seems to be ambiguous. Is it English as in Country, or English as in Language? I will take the latter. :)

Body corporate (vic) -> Owners Corporation

It's interesting to note that while they are replacing all references to body corporate with owners corporation they still define an owners corporation as:

"owners corporation" means a body corporate which is incorporated by registration of a plan of subdivision or a plan of strata or cluster subdivision; Owners Corporations Act 2006 (Victoria) - page 4 (page 14 of PDF)

... referring to a 'body corporate' that they no longer define? Anyway, not an issue - just found it curious, as I'm trying to pin down definitions for myself as I'm trying to build a picture (and article, eventually) of what each state (of Australia) calls a 'body corporate'/'owners corporation'/'housing association'/etc. If everyone calls them different things, what term best covers them all? Body Corp. - applies in NZ, too?

Doesn't "Body Corporate" (meaning the body that represents residents' communal interests) also apply in New Zealand? Certainly I've heard it used casually, though I couldn't guarantee that it hadn't simply been "borrowed" from Australia... Anyone got any pointers for my research?
