Cleanup
Aside from the NPOV problems and general subjectivity of the entry I've replaced, factual errors include the comment that this is the first LP to include "Positively 4th Street." The track previously appeared on the Columbia anthology "Disco Teen '66," released by the Columbia Record Club, among other appearances. Monicasdude 21:22, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
Poster
The original album package also included Milton Glaser's now-familiar "psychedelic" poster depicting Dylan; it would later be disparaged by the burgeoning rock press.

- Yes. They've changed this article to say Dylan (the burgeoning rock press himself) didn't like it, which I flagged "citation needed" and then removed after thinking about it. -SusanLesch (talk) 00:22, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
Split article
I really think this article should be split, since what is called the UK version here is NOT called "Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits", but instead simply "Greatest Hits". Best-selling album in the U.S.
How can you proof with the link in reference #3 that this title is his best-selling album in the U.S.? It could be also "BOB DYLAN'S GREATEST HITS VOLUME II" with 5x MULTI PLATINUM. --DrSeehas (talk) 10:56, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
- Simple arithmetic. Greatest Hits 2 is two LP albums or two compact discs, a sale of one copy counted as a sale of two units by the RIAA. By their metric, any double album that goes double platinum (The Beatles 1962-1966, 1967-1970, Pink Floyd's The Wall, or Outkast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below) actually sells only one million copies. One copy=two discs of sales. Being a double-album, Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. II only needs to sell 500,000 copies to go platinum, a million to go double-platinum, and 2.5 million copies to achieve its 5X platinum as measured by the RIAA. Being a single album, the first Greatest Hits actually sold 5 million copies and twice as many as the second Hits LP even though both get the same platinum sales rating. Hence, it's his best-selling album in the US according to the RIAA.PJtP (talk) 22:12, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
