Stop adding this paragraph. Even if it were written in accordance with out WP:MOS, and in a consistent tense (reads like it's going to happen, but it's already taken place), it is simply WP:UNDUE. Wikipedia is not a web host. The most that could be added is a single line, in the Events section.
