- That blog entry is mistaken. The Harmonic number solution to this problem has nothing to do with whether or not the upper blocks are still partially over the table, but rather where the center of mass of the blocks are. And if you solve for the location of the center of mass of a stack of n blocks, you find that the given answer of is indeed optimal (for the one block per row version of the problem). 2620:101:F000:700:8000:0:6BA:6D0B (talk) 16:35, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
