Proposed Move (request) Due To Protection

For some days the airport was named right, Birsa Munda International Airport but after a few days it came back to the old Birsa Munda Airport as it was before 2016. This time the article is Move Protected I request to move this article to Birsa Munda International Airport as the Government of Jharkhand the Airport Authority of India and India's aviation regulator, D.G.C.A. have granted it International status in early 2016 and the airport name has been changed to the newer one but! international flights are yet to start operations here. Airindia418 at 8:53 P.M. Indian Standard Time 28th March 2016.

There is no change in the name of the article. International status does not automatically imply that the airport has to have the word International in its title. Provide a source for the change of the name if there is any. — LeoFrank  ^Talk 15:27, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

Editors have repeatedly tried to add "International" to the title, but the Airport Authority of India does not describe it that way. I have added Blue Dart Aviation to Delhi as the airline operates cargo services seasonally.Airindia418 at 8:53 P.M. Indian Standard Time 28th March 2016.

IndiGo to Bagdogra

Shouldn't IndiGo's flight to bagdogra be added?. I'm not sure if it should be added or not so, what can be better than the talk page? As per the IndiGo website 6E-398 operates to IXB via DEL without an aircraft change.Bingobro (Chat) —Preceding undated comment added 14:27, 8 June 2017 (UTC)

Since the summer schedule 2018 the flight has been discontinued, however 6E-398 still operates IXR-DEL sector. So, if anyone is reading this kindly do not add Bagdogra again. Thank you. Bingobro (Chat) 07:56, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

Disputed article title - changes reverted

As mentioned in the first post on this talkpage by David Biddulph, the AAI officially uses "Birsa Munda Airport" (per [1]). I have reverted the recent copypaste move to "Birsa Munda International Airport" by Ramesmurmu214 and restored the valid redirect. Please discuss such concerns here on article talk instead of edit-warring or copypasting content (articles are renamed with the "move" function, not with copypastes).
