Mykolaiv Oblast or Kherson Oblast?
editAccording to the map in the infobox, Bezimenne is in Kherson Oblast. Maps of Mykolaiv Oblast and Kherson Oblast at Commons show different boundaries between Bashtanka Raion in Mykolaiv Oblast and Beryslav Raion in Kherson Oblast. Did the boundary change at some point? Some of the maps and info must be out of date. Nurg (talk) 21:42, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- At some point, Russia declared that occupied parts of Mykolaiv Oblast belong to Kherson Oblast (and were annexed as such, most notably the city of Snihurivka). For Ukraine, nothing changed. Open Street Map shows the boundary pretty accurately. Ymblanter (talk) 12:01, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- If OSM is accurate, then the map in the infobox is wrong. Pinging Pietadè for their input as well. Nurg (talk) 04:19, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moved to Bezimenne, Mykolaiv Oblast. Consensus developed on the alternative title, Bezimenne, Mykolaiv Oblast. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 14:18, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
Bezimenne, Snihurivka urban hromada, Bashtanka Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast → Bezimenne, Bashtanka Raion – Current name in too long and is not necessary for disambiguation MB 04:43, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- Counter-proposal. My reading of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Ukrainian places)#Disambiguation is that it should be Bezimenne, Mykolaiv Oblast. Nurg (talk) 10:16, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- That sound fine to me too. MB 14:04, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
Bezimenne, Mykolaiv Oblast would be ok for the time being, but will stop being ok as soon as someone created an article for another Bezimenne in Mykolaiv Oblast.(I am not sure why people want article about these villages, but this is a different story). Bezimenne, Bashtanka Raion is not ok per WP:UAPLACE. Ymblanter (talk) 20:59, 27 December 2022 (UTC)- Sorry, I was wrong, there is only one Bezimenne in Mykolaiv Oblast. Then I support the move to Bezimenne, Mykolaiv Oblast--Ymblanter (talk) 21:01, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
Pushpin map is apparently wrong
editThe pushpin map, which I removed and Pietadè has added back, shows Bezimenne in Kherson Oblast, outside the border of Mykolaiv Oblast. I believe the boundary in the map is wrong. Otherwise, Bezimenne really is in Kherson Oblast, not Mykolaiv Oblast. We need updated pushpin maps for Mykolaiv Oblast and Kherson Oblast. I don't know how to do that myself. - Google⁄Maps “disagrees” ☆☆☆—PietadèTalk 07:35, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- I know it does. But what is your conclusion – that Bezimenne is in Kherson Oblast? Nurg (talk) 07:40, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- To follow other wikis, and «natives», and to correct the map in question. ☆☆☆—PietadèTalk 07:45, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
