Not heard of him, think you mean Hamo Le Strange (at least one such person existed in medieaval Shropshire history), however can't comment on his relevance to Betton Strange.Cloptonson (talk) 14:39, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Use as school (unsupported by citation) edit

It was owned by the Pearce family who founded Durston House School in Ealing and was used as a boarding school during the Second World War when some of the pupils of Durston House and Ripley Court School in Surrey were evacuated there including the author of this note who spent one year there at the age of five and then one year at Durston House and six years at Ripley Court.

A citation to the Building Listing was fixed after the sentence, which has a nameless autobiographical reference. In fact use as a school is not mentioned in the citation which I have moved to the end of the preceding sentence of the paragraph. I am going to delete the autobiographical detail and raise a citation need on the remainder of the sentence.Cloptonson (talk) 14:39, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
