Yes, that is ridiculous. Other value seem much more plausible for a B main sequence star. — JyriL talk 19:12, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Green really?

edit

Have any of you actually seen this reknowned greenness by yourself? If it is green by exhibiting surrounding nebulosities, then this greenness should be an intermittent phenomenon, and the star should usually be blue or white. Personally I've seen a huge lot of green stars, but only if I make the stupid mistake of letting in yellow light from behind my back looking onto a blue or white star through my balcony door. On closing the door, and putting the yellow light off, I see no green star whatsoever, only red, pink, orange, yellow, cream, white and blue – although green stars are quite possible if there is some kind of green emission in it's light. ... said: Rursus (bork²) 20:48, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Absolute Magnification?

edit

Does anyone know what the absolute magnitude for β Librae is? I read that it's suspected to be a variable star, so does that have anything to do with the lack of data? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Wikipedia Community.
