This article adds almost nothing to the material in the main Beach volleyball article. Only the first paragraph adds anything (and it's marked "citation needed"), and it seems to contradict a claim made in the rest of the article (1998 versus 1999). I agree. This article appears to be nothing more than an excerpt of the other article. Further, discussion of Muslim religious views (especially to the exclusion of any other religious views) is inappropriate.

Yup. This article was originated by someone who repeatedly deleted the controversy from the main article, but now that he gave up tha ghost, I think it's time to delete.TjoeC (talk) 03:33, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Indeed, it's nearly identical to the section of the same title in the Beach volleyball article. Deleting sounds very appropriate. --User101010 (talk) 01:49, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
