editThe Czech and Polish articles are just translated from the German one. The German article has as its only source Perlbach 1870, who states that there was no battle, and who never even mentions the date of 22 September. So it is unclear what this is based on. Perlbach is a dated but excellent source, as he explicitly cites the primary sources he uses for his account. Apparently, the claim of a "battle at Chlumec" on 22 September 1040 originates in May 2007 based on no source or reference whatsoever.
It may make sense to merge this into a coherent account of the 1039-1041 war into an article called Bohemian War (Henry III), or Polish-Bohemian War (1039–1047), or similar.[1] --dab (𒁳) 10:58, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
